Three central sapphires edged around the ring by approx.18 tiny diamonds. The two side sapphires measure approx.6 mm by 4 mm. The central stone is approx.7 mm by 6 mm. (These measurements are taken in the setting and are not exact). 9ct yellow and white gold. Face of ring measures 18 mm by 11 mm. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size L+ (USA size 5.3/4) with a 16.30 mm interior diameter.
The setting at the sides contain two little gold love knots on each side. A very pretty ring, and comfortable - it looks very good on the hand. It could date anywhere from the 1930s to the1950s. Very good used condition, it has a few abrasions to the facets, and tiny little frits on the stone edges - can really be seen only under magnification. Just normal signs of age and wear.
