Georgian Stemmed Cordial Glass.
Double knop stem and conical bowl. Slightly twisted lobes to lower body. Georgian period, circa 1800. The under-base has a roughly ground pontil mark. There is an inclusion - area of sand or similar - between the two knops on one side - this has caused the lower knop to slightly twist up at this point. (See image). Blown glass, so all in the original making. Glass measures 11 cm high, with a top rim diameter of 6 cm and a base rim diameter of 5.8 cm. Excellent condition.
