Made in rosewood and satinwood, this Victorian whist counter measures 9.1 cm by 5.8 cm.  The rosewood tabs hinge up to mark the counting.  Underneath is an old label reading "The Camden Whist Marker.  Goodall & Son, London".  In very good working condition. A few scuffs and scratches, but a lovely piece of woodwork.
