Vintage or could be antique, table lamp - wood with gilding. Very shabby chic, or country house relaxed. Column lamp with reeded decoration and carved motif leading to broad base edged with round balls. Gilded finish is worn mainly on the stem - gives it that used, relaxed look. Bakelite fitting - may have to be changed, and a very long cord, which can be either replaced or just needs a plug fitted. Item measures  total of 43 cm high with base being 15.5 cm diameter. Would date from 1920s-40s.
