Aynsley Breakfast Cup and Saucer, Wake Up Item number: C9763 Date: 1905 to 1912 Price: NZ$85.00 Quaint cup and saucer in the tennis cup style – but instead it has the message “Wake Up!!!” and a lovely hand highlighted rooster crowing at the rising sun. Nice handle at the side of the saucer makes it easy to carry. Made by top English pottery J. Aynsley & Sons in Staffordshire, England. It carries two registration marks, which dated it between 1905 and about 1912. Saucer is about 17.5 cm wide by 11 cm deep, and the little cup is 5 cm high and 7.5 cm diameter. Excellent condition. We have a matching cup and saucer elsewhere in this category if you wanted to buy a pair. |

1920s Shelley Art Deco Bowl Item number: C8277 Date: 1920s Price: NZ$285.00 Octagonal large fruit bowl from Shelley — lustre glaze dark ivory in the inside, and mottled yellow on the outside. The very Art Deco design inside the bowl has enamel highlights. Bowl measures 23.5 cm diameter. It stands 8 cm high. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The inside lustre glaze shows a little mottling and wear, but otherwise excellent. |
