Sun Wukong Monkey Man Figurine, Chinese

Item number: 9208
Date: unknown – early 20th century?
Price: NZ$130.00

I think this is Sun Wukong, but please correct me if I’m wrong! Monkey man figurine standing with blue waves (?) at his feet, and long staff in one hand. He peers into the distance. Glazed grey earthenware – possibly Shiwan. Lovely figurine, unfortunately has some faults: his staff has been repaired at the top, and the base has been broken in half and reglued (just under his raised foot.). Has an impressed mark underneath but I can’t decipher it. Measures 21 cm high (8.1/4 inches).
