They are paper fans, with bamboo sides and sticks. Small one for a woman, larger one for the man. The scene on them is Miyajima. Smallest fan measures 19.5 cm long, and the other is 22 cm long. Black with overprinted decoration is metallic inks. Not sure of composition of tray – could be plastic, or could be lacquer.
