Ornate ceramic cheese dish – base and lid with floral pattern and some gilding. Faulted as follows: The lid has some internal staining, but is perfect on the outside. The base plate has staining to the centre, and a hole in one corner (see photos). Dish measures 26.5 cm by 20 cm and is about 17.5 cm high . Typical ornate Victorian decoration, great for a kitchen display.

Lovely old jelly mould (or mold if you are North American) – brown treacle glaze exterior, white interior. The mould pattern appears to be fruit with leaves at the top. Impressed mark underneath D7 and 7. Also, “Made in Luxembourg”. Mould measures 8 cm high and 18.5 cm by 15 cm (3.1/8 inches high by 7.1/4 inches by 6 inches). Some brown age spots internally, but otherwise excellent.

Pretty floral early 20th century cheese dish lid. Design of bluebells and foliage. Measures 12 cm high and 15.5 cm by 11 cm. Made by Grimwades Winton, Staffordshire. It has an impressed registration mark, which dates it to circa 1905 to 1910. Some minor normal clean glaze crazing, a little wear to gilding. No chips or cracks, very good condition.

Quaint pepper pots, porcelain egg shapes with pink bow decoration. The bases are sterling silver, hallmarked for London 1909. They measure 6.5 cm high and 3.5 cm diameter. You access the inside by pulling off the base, which has a cork attached. Excellent condition.

Very pretty colours of ink, dark pink and mauve. Dish measures approx. 16.5 cm high, by 22 cm by 15 cm. Apart from minor wear to gilding, it is in excellent condition. No maker’s marks.

Little chap dressed in his whites and clutching a tennis ball and racquet. Bears the 1960–1963 mark for Hummel. Salt single hole in top of his head. Measurements 7.5 cm high and 4 cm wide. Novelty Salt and Pepper Set, Log and Woodpecker

Novelty cruet set, mustard pot with lid, salt and pepper shakers all slotted into a base representing a log. Decoration of a woodpecker on the log. Whole measures 16.5 cm wide by about 5.5 cm deep and 7 cm high. Excellent condition. One cork missing. Has a registration mark underneath 798820, which places the date of manufacture between 1930 and 1940.

Villeroy & Boch Cafetierre

Not old, but very useful and good quality. A brown-glazed cafetierre made in Luxembourg by Villeroy & Boch. It has the number “4” stamped underneath (4 cup?). Underneath is ridged, so presumably can be put on a cooktop. Filter containing ground coffee fits into top portion of the unit, and works as a normal drip-filter coffee system. This unit is removable, and there is a lid for the coffee pot. All together measures 21 cm high. Spout has a very good pouring end on it — whole item is in unused, excellent condition.

Early 20th century porcelain pepper shaker, decorated with gold tube–lining in floral outlines. Spots of red and green enamel decoration, and blue and crimson blushes to the shaped and lobed body. Cork underneath. Probably 1910–1920s, either Japanese or Chinese for the export market. Pepper pot measures 68 mm high and 63 mm diameter. Excellent condition.

Pretty Victorian Kitchen Cruet Set

A lovely porcelain set of a large pepper, a large mustard, and an open salt cellar — all joined as one unit. The pepper and lidded mustard are very large, and lift out of their cup homes for use. There is a handle on the back of the set, and pretty decoration in cobalt blue with gilded pattern around the top edges. The salt has a pattern of pink roses. No maker’s mark, but looks probably Austrian. Would date from late 19th century — late Victorian. Excellent condition, only one small chip underneath lip of the pepper shaker.
Set measures 13.75 cm wide, 12.75 cm deep and 9.5 cm high. A very pretty and unusual item.

Vintage sweet or cake stand – a base of frosted glass, with a silver plated handle. Handle detaches, so glass is easily cleanable. Measures 20.7 cm diameter and 14.5 cm high. Very good condition. Circa 1920s–40s.
