Vintage Inlaid Cribbage Board

Vintage wooden cribbage board with timber inlays. Holes in ends for pegs, but no pegs present. Board measures 25.5 cm long, 8.5 cm deep and 1.3 cm thick (10 inches by 3.3/8 inches by 1/2 inch). Sound condition, but could do with a repolish to bring up the timbers as there are some worn areas and dulling to varnish.

Poker Dice with leather cup – cup is stamped “Carlsberg Beer” on one side, and “Compliments od C.G. Macindoe Pty Ltd Auckland”. Accompanied by the original dice to this, a boxed set of poker dice, with the box also marked for Carlsberg. Made in Denmark. Cup measures 92 mm high and 83 mm diameter. Small horizontal scuff in gold lettering on rear of cup, otherwise excellent vintage condition.

Cloth Body Doll with Blue Glass Eyes

Dating from about 1920s plus, this doll has a cloth body with a hard cloth head and beautiful blue glass eyes. Hand drawn features. She wears an apricot velvet dress and hat. There are moth holes to her clothes, and she has some stains and general dirt – I’m sure she would clean up for a loving owner. Her face is beautiful, and her hair (which I think is real hair) is worn in the crimped curl 1920s style. Unfortunately, where her hat used to be attached, she has a bald spot. Measures about 42 cm long (16.1/2 inches).

Child’s Sewing Machine, Countess

English “Countess” child’s sewing machine. Measures 19 cm high, 24 cm long and 11 cm deep. Has some corrosion to foot plate and foot, which could be sanded clean with fine gauge wire wool. No instructions, no clamp. One name plate missing. However, internally it is clean, and still appears to work, as handle goes round and needle goes up and down just as it should. Appears to be circa 1960s in style. Selling on behalf.

Small porcelain modern boy doll – markings on his neck are 3 above a horizontal O, then an impressed stamp with Neu Ban (I think), a W beside this, then a Y, an impressed stamp and 02. Germany. He has a painted face and hair, jointed arms and legs, and is fully (newly) dressed in trousers, socks, boots, shirt and jacket. He measures 21.5 cm long. Excellent condition. Very handsome!

Circa 1930s–50s. Bowl is 15.5 cm diameter and 4 cm hig. Minor wear to the gilding and print, otherwise in very good condition.

Dear old Teddy! He has pouting red lips, and mohair fur. He has been well played with, and is getting rather bald. Moths have attacked his lips and snout, but he has beautiful glass eyes, and the characteristic long legs of the older teddys. His growler box still emits a bit of a growl when shaken back to front. He measures 44 cm long. All joints have swivel sockets, including his head. He needs a loving home for his twilight years.

Victorian Child’s Teaset, 11 pieces

Part tea set, 11 pieces: 4 little cups, 2 saucers, 2 side plates, creamer, sugar and teapot. Child’s tea set, made by Samuel Alcock in the mid 1800s, in Staffordshire, England. Impressed maker’s mark on the saucers, and printed marks on the side plates, with the S.A entwined and the pattern name Byzantine. Pretty teal blue/green colour pattern. Cups are 7 cm diameter and 4 cm high. Creamer is only 7 cm high. Teapot is 12 cm high, and 18.5 cm handle to spout. Condition: All cups are very good, with minor stains to one, and very minor pattern wear to another. Saucers have a chip each, and are a little age stained. Side plates are excellent, and teapot is excellent (just one ring stain inside). Creamer has one small, old chip and lidded sugar has a few very minor nibbles around inside rim, and is missing its finial. Rare to find this many pieces still surviving, and it’s a beautiful teapot!

Vintage large Fun Ho wagon — well played with, in need of restoration. Remains of green paint on body. Front axle swivels. Mould number underneath is 309; Fun Ho is on the moulded plastic wheels. Wagon (not including handle) measures 14.5 cm long by 7 cm wide and 5 cm high.
Condition: Missing two wheels, and one of existing wheels is split. Both axles show corrosion and wheels turn with difficulty. (Not sure if only the wheel should turn, or the whole axle? Axle doesn’t, anyway).

Old Edwardian Racing Game, Ascot; Lead Horses

Boxed racing game, circa 1900–1910. Lead horses are attached by strings through little bone-circled holes in the front of the box. The horses are then reeled in by winding the bone handle at the side.
Only four rather battered horses survive, and all are missing bits, but the oak box is in very good original vintage condition, and the whole thing is very decorative.
Box measures 25.5 cm wide by 9 cm deep and 8 cm high.
