Pair Long Black Evening Gloves, Vintage Item number: C11170 Date: circa 1960s Price: NZ$15.00 Long gloves, elbow length. These would date from the 1950s–60s, and would fit a quite small hand. The fabric is some sort of nylon mix, and they have a wrist–slit with button holes. The buttons have been removed, but it shouldn’t be too difficult to find 6 buttons to replace them. Very good condition otherwise. |

Infant’s Silk Dress, Early 20th Century Item number: C12072 Date: early 20th century Price: NZ$50.00 Pretty little silk dress, with pin–tucks, drawn–thread work and lace edges. Cream. Three button back. Probably dates from around 1900–1920. Measures 44 cm from shoulder seam to hem and 30 cm from edge of shoulder seam /sleeve to same other side. Full style of design. Very nice condition – only mark is a small yellowish stain as shown in photo – I haven’t tried to clean it. |

Fendi Silk and Gold Thread Scarf Item number: C12047 Date: mid to later 20th century Price: NZ$295.00 Fabulous Fendi scarf with original box, and still wearing it–s swing tag - not a label saying Fendi though, as it is in what is probably Chinese – the centre of this scarf is a magnificent 5 clawed Imperial dragon surrounded by Imperial yellow. Beautiful vibrant colours, and all shot through with gold thread. Hand rolled edges. Scarf measures approx. 86 cm square (almost 34 inches). Excellent unused condition. Bought at a Fendi shop. |

Large Art Deco Gentlemans Silk Scarf Item number: 7855 Date: 1920s–1930s Price: NZ$22.00 Not easy to photograph this one – it is self patterned in a deco design of squares, and has broad self–patterned edge banding and two fringed edges. Silk, cream coloured – exactly the type of thing worn in the evening by gentlemen of the period. Measures 81 cm by 81 cm, so quite large. Age has caused a few problems – it has some faint yellowing stains in one area, and a few small holes (photo shows them magnified). Once folded into a triangle or strip, these would not show. |

A long ball dress, high neck, floating cape detail, which is gathered from the rear neckline. Side zip. High collar to front neck, straight-through line to dress, with darts shaping waist area. Fabric is sheer aqua blue net patterned with silver, over matching aqua blue lining. Maker’s label has been cut out. Size would be about 16 NZ. Very good condition. Probably dates from the 1960s. Country Road Crushed Velvet Trousers Item number: C9165 Date: 1990s Price: NZ$49.00 Never been worn, but are at least 12 years old. They are Country Road, and still have the swing tags attached. Crushed bottle-green velvet, with wide legs at bottom (72 cm diameter). Size 12 according to the label. Fabric is slightly stretchy. Excellent condition. They don’t photograph well — I had to pin them to the dummy, and it gives a rather unrealistic effect! |
