Sterling Silver Handled Shoe Horn, 1908 Item number: C11364 Date: 1908 Price: NZ$68.00 Sterling silver–handled Edwardian shoe horn, hallmarked for Birmingham 1908, maker Edward Souter Barnsley & Co. Tongue of shoe horn is silver plated steel – there is some wear and bits of spotting showing through. The handle has a dent at the very top of the finial (hardly noticeable since the design is quite busy) and is engraved “E.M.G.” in flowing script. Shoehorn measures 17.5 cm long (7 inches). |
