Has element inside and bakelite lid. Pottery is probably Temuka. Jug measures about 20 cm high and 23 cm wide handle to spout. Circa late 1940s–early 1950s. Ceramic part of jug is in excellent condition – there is a little nick/loss in the bakelite near the spout. and a split in the bakelite seam down the centre of the lid to this area. A real piece of Kiwiana.
