Small Sterling Silver Trophy Cup
Item number: 8956
Trophy cup, hallmarked for Sheffield 1907 (Edwardian period). Elegant shape and handles. Engraved on face: “Bramshaw. February 14th 1909. 100 Gross” (it could be Cross, but the tail is quite long). Cup measures 6 cm high and 7 cm wide handle to handle (2.3/8 inches by 2.3/4 inches). The silver is in excellent condition. The base is filled with plaster weighting and this is showing – can’t be seen when trophy is standing, but if desired, it would be a simple solution to fill the base and put card and felt over it. Weight is 29.84 grams, but this includes the remains of the filler.
